The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 is a rather unknown gem for the m43 mount. It’s small size, weight and surprising image quality make it an excellent addition to any kit. The extreme wide angle and fast aperture combined with the GH5’s in body image stabilization (IBIS) opens up the world of hand held night sky photography! Note that such a wide angle can create distortions in video when IBIS is used. For hand held video with IBIS we recommend focal lengths between 12 to 25.
The only downside to this tiny wonder is rather strong vignetting, which never fully goes away. The manual focus has some stiffness to it and a decently long throw, which makes it perfect for zone focusing.
